Singularity levels and what constitutes their exact definitional actualisations are debatable, yet rough and exact outlines have been made. A “singularity” can be thought of as a dramatic improvement and advancement, whether through many increments grouped collectively or single and sudden. Technological singularities are one of the main discussed realm facets. However, there are other types of singularity; for example: cosmological singularity, mathematical singularity, and even organic singularity (biological cells becoming multicellular and then multicellular groupings becoming distinct lifeforms – a human may be thought of as being a ~3-10 level organic singularity being, especially if your conjecture involves single celled life leaping to multicellular life as an increase in organic singularity level by 1 unit).

Some posit that as technology (such as computers) improves exponentially that a logarithmic increase in capacity is one singularity level up, and that the exponential increase – if placed on a graph – is a singularity.
